Women's Combatives Program
Learn Real World Self Defense
The martial art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (GJJ) was developed and promoted to allow a weaker, smaller, and frail individual to survive an attack from a stronger, heavier, and more athletic attacker. Based on that philosophy, women would benefit the most from learning the GJJ martial art, since women are considered by most as the weaker and smaller species amongst human beings. Therefore, GJJ is the perfect martial art for a woman to learn and master.
Our Combatives Program for Women is based on the martial art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (GJJ) self-defense principles. All classes are taught by Laura Eyler (GJJ Brown Belt) and are open to women and teens (ages 13 and up).
Give Yourself the Gift of Gracie Jiu Jitsu
You'll learn world renowned martial art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (GJJ) in a fun, safe, and supportive environment exclusively for women. GJJ is a martial art focused on self-defense based on leverage, balance, and technique rather than speed, size, and strength. Classes include the use of leverage-based techniques and natural body movements to defend yourself, manage attacks, and succumb your attacker while either standing up or while on the ground by being efficient, patient, technical, and controlling. While learning GJJ, you will build confidence in executing each technique as you practice them over and over again.
When you register for this program, you will receive access to instructional videos and materials to supplement your in-class experience, which will give you the best opportunity to learn the GJJ martial art techniques demonstrated in class.
